Just wanted to add some more comments to your 'feedback' webpage.
Huge thanks to your company for organizing the course and to Darren who helped me and my colleague to prepare for and successfully pass the driving tests in February. Darren is an absolutely excellent instructor, in only a day's shared course he managed to focus on all the rights things to make sure we pass right away. I guess this wasn't an easy task for him because I should say I previously only drove on the right hand side in Europe and I only drove an automatic transmission here in the UK before the course! I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Darren for helping me pass my
driving test in Kendall last Thursday (10th April). He was so patient,
supportive and understanding of my weaknesses and remained positive
through out the course (something i wasn't!!)
I did the 2 day 10 hour course and it was enough driving and plenty of
tuition on manoveres which i was never that confident with, but Darren
helped me overcome my fears and i actually can do them really well now!!

I am writing to thank your company for the excellent service I received recently when I came on a seven day residential course. I took my test at the end of the week and passed first time with four minors! I started driving at the start of February meaning I had only been driving eight weeks when I passed on the 4th of April 2008. I would like to say a huge thank you to Darren who is an excellent and patient teacher and we had a great laugh contemplating the large amount of 'warning-ducks crossing' signs that you have in Blackpool! I am now doing a Pass Plus course to get my 'road legs' as it were and my instructor was really surprised that I exceeded expectations when I drove in Liverpool during rush hour and wasn't fazed- this is obviously tantamount to the brilliant teaching I received. It feels very weird to be able to take myself out rather than waiting for lifts- the freedom is great!
After passing in such a short time period my older brother's only consolation was that he got three minors :) Darren- your lucky hat obviously works! (though I'm not sure about the mints?)

would just like to say a big THANKYOU to Steve for helping me pass my driving test second time round on the 7th of March 08! I have barely got out of the car since!! I will happily recommend this course to some of the other people i know who are trying to get on the road!! It was a long way to go to do a driving test but well worth the 9 hour coach trip!! I just wanted to say that I have passed my driving test with only three minor faults.
The arendale hotel was a lovely place to stay the couple there were a delight and very accommodating.
More importantly, barry was a first class driving instructor who radically improved my driving skills in a short space of time. He is polite, friendly and promoted learning and development all the time I was behind the wheel.
His test preparation was second to none and I felt confident to pass.
He is without a doubt a credit to your business and I wish him and your business the best of luck for the future.

I would just like to thank all that was involved with booking and carrying out my driving course, especially my driving instructor Paul who was fantastic and without him I know for sure I would not have been able to pass my test, also the hospitatility that was offered from all at the hotel was second to none and I was made to feel welcome at every opportunity , I would recommend your courses to anyone providing that they were 100% honest with themselves and yourselves on there current capabilities and then they will not be dissappointed with what you offer.

| Hi all, just to let you know that I finally passed my driving test on Fridat 2nd Nov. I did the 5 day 121 course with my fab instructer Barry from 15th Oct. Although I failed my first test due to nerves, I came away feeling confident and happy that I had gained enough skills and knowledge. I put in my test again as soon as I got home and did the resit 2 weeks later and passed with 4 minors. I never took anymore driving lessons as I didn`t need them, at the end of the day, it was down to keeping my nerve. I would definatley recommended the intensive course to anyone willing to work hard to pass their test, yes it is intensive but I felt I was able to process what I was taught by Barry alot better than my weekly lessons in my own area. I have a new sense of freedom and actually drove myself 18 miles to work yesterday, no more depending on other people to give me lifts. Could you please let Barry know that I passed my test and thank him for being a brilliant instructer |

My names Jade iv been 17 for 2 months and i would like to say a MASSIVE thanks to Bill for everything, i do not know whether you remeber or know but i took my test in Chorley and came out with not a single minor! i was Bills first student in 22 years to come out without a minor. I took a 2 day intensive course with him and it was excellent i really enjoyed it and he was super patient with me when i had my little strops. Please say thanks again to Bill for me. Hi I have just returned from a 5 day 1 2 1 course where I sat my test on 19th Oct 07 in Chorley. I would just like to thank A1 and Barry, my instructer for the excellent tuition I received. Barry increased my confidence over the 5 days. Unfortunately I did not pass my test but what I have learnt is immense compared to what I knew before. Nerves got the better of me and Barry couldn`t have taught me anymore if he tried, it was down to me at the end of the day but I`m not giving up as I feel confident enough that it will be 2nd time lucky

Hi. Just a quick note to say that yes, after the five day shared intensive course I got through with only six minors (and all but one really were minor). So yes thanks indeed. Particular praises must to go my instructor Geoff Wareing who really should be canonised as (a) he has the patience of a saint and (b) the fact I passed is your first of three miracles right there! Jokes aside, all was excellent and I've left not just with confidence, but with I feel, a decent understanding of driving.

Hello, I have just completed a 5 day one to one driving course and passed my test. My instructor Lesley Chambers was very encouraging ,positive and had a great sense of humour. I met some wonderful people and really enjoyed my stay in Blackpool. I would definitley recommend A1 to anyone thinking about driving.

Hello to everyone at A1 school of Motoring ! I just completed a five day shared course the last week of August. I had a rollercoaster week (not my driving!) with a lovely instructor, Darren and shared pupil, Emma and the lovely people who ran the guest house. I'm over the moon I passed my test on Friday and I'm making the most of my new found freedom! I recommend this course to anyone! All I can say thanks to Darren creep and peep will never be the same again!

I don't know if you remember me? I had a 40 hrs intensive one to one with you back in end of April beginning of May. V from Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire. Unfortunately I didn't pass my test on the Friday the 4th May. Nerves - I would just like to say that the experience that Mark gave me that week was second to none and what a fantastic teacher he was. I'm pleased to say that I passed my test today. I have just finished my two day course with you guys and thought it was great, although i did not pass my driving test i thought the course was great and darren was great he is alot better than any instructor iv had before! The b&b was great, ros and her family where very kind to me and made me feel most welcome. I have been recomending your course to family and friends and i will continue to do so. I attended an intensive course last week with Darren as my tutor and stayed at the Rothwell.
I just wanted to advise you that I had a great week despite not being up to test standard . Please pass my thanks to Darren who is a great and patient instructor. Also to Ros and Trevor at the Rothwell who were so friendly and like a second family. The school is very well run and I would recommend it to anyone.
I start a new job next week but as soon as I am sorted out I hope to be back on a further course as I am determined to pass my test. Many thanks |

Hi Tony, I'm writing to thank you and Terry, (My Instructor from Wigan) for a fantastic course. Having only had 30hrs previous driving experience, I opted for your 4 day 1 to 1 giving me a further 18hrs intensive tuition. This obviously did the trick as I flew through my driving test yesterday with a grand total of 2 minor faults. Having had two previous instructors i can say with hand on heart that the standard of tuition i received from terry was second to none, and I will certainly recommend your courses to all my family and friends. Its good to know you will go that extra mile for anyone as i got there with my mate and not my partner as it should have been when i booked it the hotel got me straight in at another hotel with 2 beds to accommodate us both, excellent friendly service and staff at hotels.
